Calling All HI Family Members to Get Involved!!!

Humanitarian work is both a challenging and fulfilling experience. It requires commitment, perseverance, and dedication, as well as consistent funding. We want to scale our current projects so we can build on models that have proven to be successful in serving rural communities over the past 10 years. We partner with communities in Cameroon to provide health services, public libraries, and sustainable employment opportunities.

In the last three years our reach has grown 80%! Moving forward, we’re focused on three priorities: libraries and education, community health, and job creation.

We have a clear path moving forward—all we need is the funding. If you are a grantmaker, grant writer, are connected with a family foundation, or have your own family foundation, we want to connect with you! We would be happy to accept any and all of the help/expertise you are willing to give—whether that be occasional phone calls, regular Skype conferences, or in-person meetings.

A big part of what we do here at Himalayan Institute Global Humanitarian Projects includes fundraising of all kinds—annual fundraising campaigns, recurring monthly donations, individual fundraisers, and grant applications. This monetary support is what essentially turns all of our project ideas into reality. When we have greater financial resources, we have the ability to provide more health services, build numerous public libraries, and create a bounty of sustainable employment opportunities.

As members of the Himalayan Institute community, you know our mission better than anyone.

We want to work with you to further our reach, growing our humanitarian projects together. If you want to jump right in and be a part of impacting thousands of lives through world-class development work in Cameroon, West Africa, email us now! Let’s get started!
