Graduation season in Kumbo, Cameroon has been filled with joy and pride. The HI Cameroon team joined hundreds of children in celebrating their achievements. These children are beneficiaries of the Institute’s Food Security and Community Health program, which provides school meals and essential health education. Through partnerships with 21 local schools, we’ve reached nearly 50,000 children and their families since last October, nurturing both well-being and hope.

Meanwhile, in the nearby village of Mbonso, dozens of local farmers—supported by the Institute—are preparing 30 acres of land to grow corn, rice, beans, and vegetables. As the rains return, these crops will offer more than food—they represent a step toward self-sufficiency. This harvest will help feed the very communities we serve, connecting classrooms and farmlands in a shared story of resilience

The Himalayan Institute’s humanitarian initiatives in Cameroon and India depend upon the love and support of our donors. The progress and development we have seen over the years could not have been possible without you, and for this we are truly grateful. Together, we are creating peaceful, flourishing communities throughout Cameroon and India.
