Children’s Education
Our children’s education program expands access to knowledge and opportunity through community libraries, school enrichment activities, and scholarships that remove barriers to learning and inspire future leaders.
Public Libraries
In a region where books are scarce and expensive, our libraries provide vital access to knowledge. Our flagship library in Kumbo—holding more than 30,000 volumes, the largest in Northwest Cameroon—along with smaller branch libraries in rural areas, serve students, teachers, and professionals. Beyond book lending, we offer study spaces, children’s programs, mentoring, and professional development. Managed by trained local staff, these libraries empower learners of all ages and open doors to opportunity.

School Enrichment Programs
In partnership with schools across the region, we provide supplemental education and enrichment activities to strengthen literacy, computer skills, and a love of learning. At a time when many schools have struggled to maintain normalcy due to ongoing civil unrest, these programs have had a profoundly positive impact. Through spelling bees, reading challenges, and other activities, children are rediscovering a love of learning that inspires them to excel academically and pursue higher education.
Scholarship Programs
Each year, we provide scholarships to support the children of our staff, covering tuition, books, and school supplies. For almost two decades this program has enabled hundreds of children to attend school consistently by removing financial barriers to education. Beyond access, it has helped fuel their vision for building a brighter future for themselves and their community members.
