We had a wonderful bhoomi puja (groundbreaking ceremony) on October 6 at the Himalayan Institute Khajuraho campus in India.

Construction began in April 2012. Progress on the site continues to move along well, as we approach completion of the first construction phase in the next month. The main gate, guard rooms, staff quarters, electrical and utility shed, power and water infrastructure, secondary gate and bridge are all complete.

Work on site leveling, internal road development, and rear boundary concrete pillars for the solar fencing system is well under way, and will be completed soon. We’re also making great progress on the architectural planning and builder selection for the main construction, which we hope to start in the next six weeks!

All are invited to visit Himalayan Institute Khajuraho during the Kumbha Mela celebration in 2013!
